a day off

assalamualaikum everybody. i hope everyone is feeling good today..
the weather is good here in shah alam.
the grass..still green..
the sun..still giving out its unlimited rays of light and heat...
man..having shelters to keep them away from the burning sun..from rains...a place of comfort..
can anybody find a better place than home?
there is one..but not seen..

today is my day off from work. i slept late last night and woke up late in the morning.
just bought a new broadband where you can just plug it in and surf the net.

this morning, as usual i have to send my two brothers to school in Seksyen 13 Shah Alam.. today was a bit better than yesterday and days before that..they woke up earlier today so i don't have to rush in driving them to school. the road will become congested right around 720 am so if i go out later than that gives me another job of waiting in the traffic.

i started working at this book store on monday 2/3/2009 which was on monday. the working hours is from 9 am till 615 pm in the evening, that is if you are working morning shift. if you are doing afternoon shift, you'll be working from 1230 pm to 10 pm..9 hours..such long hours..is it?

in working life one will meet many types of people, no doubt about that.. and i guess im just starting to feel that. people with different attitudes..some work well with each other, some stab others at the back, many are good honest and hardworking people, a few are quite emotional when problems pass by, and many others..

i treat such as many sides of a human..insan..not perfect..one that forgets..same goes to me..
but not to give in to such notion as it might cloud you to make an excuse out of it..
man should strive..for his life in here and..hereafter..
not only for himself..but others that go the same way down into the dirt..

throughout the lives of mankind, man always find ways to answer the questions that life pose to one..

waking up in the morning

waking up in the morning is surely the best thing to do.
its morning and the sun is just about to rise..the air.. so fresh and clean, especially when you have big trees around your house or around your neighbourhood...
just imagine.. feeling the cold water running gently at the tip of your foot when you are just about to get your shower..shivers..

but there's a much sweeter experience than waking up at that time in the morning..that is, you wake an hour or two before morning..yes..what do you say about that..

its so much peaceful..give it a try..whats more peaceful than that is you take a bath and perform the tahajjud...so tranquilizing.....one will feel peace within one's soul..and that is the most important thing in life..

to have peace inside and outside..to know and feel the presence of Allah deep inside your heart..
that is actually what life is all about..serving Him none other...

people seek that what is called inner peace..and none can give it except by His will..and we should ask and pray for it...

as a muslim, and in my personal view, this peace is something that every single person on this earth is searching for..money can't buy it..

demam peperiksaan kembali tiba

a broken family

someone will always find ways, when he is enlightened, to improve himself and to become a better person. and he will do the same thing for his family, his friends, and the people around, and also the whole world, when he is enlightened.
he see's that the world is not in its best condition. he will find ways to solve the problems the world is facing, his family is facing, his society is facing, he is facing.
he realised that to find a solution to all the problems of the world is not a one man job like a superman. that it must be done not individually but collectively, he thus seeks companions. for a big job it is not an individual job. it demands all the people there is available. just like building the skyscrapers of the world, you will not find one guy directing it and building it at the same time. it needs people and it needs a team and it needs one mindset.
then, this someone again realised that in devicing ways to solve problems, he needs people to help him to work together, to advice each other so that one does not slip off the track. and he must have something as a guide in achieving this very big goal.

bermulanya semester pendek 07/08

Bukankah begitu?

Adakah kita begitu?

Sharing.

Salam friends…

How is everybody at the moment? I hope everyone is fine insyaallah. I will like to post something like a question here so that we all can discuss. Let me start.

It was my first UNGS 2050 class, stands for Islam, Ethics and Fiqh for everyday Life. So, the lecturer was giving an introduction while at the same time going into some topics in the course. He talked about Muslim people, their population and how this influences the increasing number of Muslims in the world. He said that the very big population of Muslim today is MAINLY due to the increasing number of Muslim child being born, the reproductivity of the Muslim people themselves, not because of the big number of non-Muslims converting to the religion Islam, and also not because of the hard and continuous work of the Muslim preachers in spreading the Din.

So, the question is, is what he said is true? Has it got basis? I will leave this as it is and I shall wait for your opinions/comments and will publish them here. Just want us to have a jolly discussion.

Till then, take care.

a death tonight...

Around 2200 today, my mother asked me to accompany her to our TUDM Mosque, in Shah Alam.
My father told me before that there was a death, and as xTUDMs, we felt obliged to attend it.
So, after changing my clothes and taking ablution, we drove off to the mosque which was about 10 minutes from our house in Bukit Jelutong.
In the vehicle, I asked my mother who is this person that passed away.
She said that this dear woman was an acquaintance of her when we used to live in TUDM Subang.
They used to play volleyball together along with other women.
Well, that must be sad.
And to add to that, she died because of cancer.
When we arrive there, people were gathering at the left side of the mosque where the place to Wash the 'jenazah' is situated.
So my mother went ahead where the ladies were and I headed for the men.
I knew only few out of these people over there because they were working people, I mean, my father would have known them rather than me.
I just stood there watching from outside, the ladies preparing to wash the 'jenazah'.
While standing, I observed there are people having some conversations, here and there, some are smoking, and some are just like me, watching and doing nothing.
I remembered I have not prayed isya' at that time due to some matters so I went inside the mosque and found two people were praying and I, without wasting any time joined up.
It is narrated that congregational prayer is more loved in the sight of Allah by 27 times.
Is not that a lot?
Let’s say that if I work alone, I only get RM1, but if I work with a pair, I get RM27...?
Just an analogy though, it does not suppose to be the exact meaning. =)
anyways, after praying, I went back to the people and still, doing the same thing, watch.
Somehow I felt touched, to see people not really into this death thing, you know what I mean?
Truly I believe that, when one attends such ceremony, that is a death of someone, especially one that is dear to you, you will feel too much and you cannot stop that feeling from affecting you.
Whether you try to hide your face and your tears from falling down, or you let it be.
I don't know, maybe different people different experience.
Whatever it is, emotions, sometimes they are good for you. Not to mention crying.
But being mad is no, as a branch of emotions itself because this one is killing.
Prophet once said don't be angry and he repeated it three times emphasizing how not good it is to get mad or angry.
Crying, I see it in another perspective that it helps to cool the heart in one way. I believe and through experience, crying has many benefits and also, it comes in many ways to you. You don't just cry when you are angry, do you? What I mean here is crying, there must be situations that make you want to cry.
I think I deviated from my story already. We will continue about crying tomorrow Insha’Allah ok. =)
so, then I went back inside the mosque to make some doa' for this lady. tell you the truth, even though I don't know her, inside I feel like she's very dear to me. and when I saw her two boys crying outside, it really touched me.
two little innocent kids losing their mom..
quite a trial.
maybe this is the outcome of the so called brotherhood in Islam that a lot of people do not see.
I am also saying this to myself.
we Muslims must have what you call in Arabic as ghirah(غيرة) towards the Muslims among themselves.
meaning, we feel for each other, we sympathize and empathize for whatever that is happening to our fellow Muslims, the tortures, slain, plights, and also assaults made and launched by the enemies of Muslims.
we must really feel for them.
be them Chinese, Indians, Indonesians, Myanmars, Vietnamese, or any other race that exist on the face of this world.
sometimes we only see the white, good looking people in our hearts, not our kind.
by kind I mean faith.
this should not happen my brothers and sisters.
sometimes we see people of the same color as the same as us and we treat them normal, but when we meet up new other-color people from the outside, we treat them one of a kind, that goes to you too ismat.
I don't mean that white people are to be kept away from or what not. they are the same as us, human beings that need love and care.
people like to see beauty don't they..?same here.
but when we realize that this beauty is not what we are striving for, not what we are made to have, we would gradually see other people who are not as lucky as we are, not as rich as we are, and not as good looking as we are, if we are.
our hearts will become more soft and easily touched.
and this can be achieved by taqarrub ilaLlah.....

Well, that's it for now, until we meet again...
